How To Get There.... and get back out!
By Rail
Howth railway station is shown here on the top right of the rail map. It is serviced by Dublin's light rail (DART) system. If people are travelling from Dublin city make sure you get the Howth DART rather than the Malahide one. Once you get to Howth, the hotel have a minibus and can pick up from the station if you phone them. If you let Alan know your arrival times he can help or pick you up. If people are arriving by boat, the DART covers the coast including Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ports. If people are arriving at Roslare, take the train to Dublin then transfer to Howth DART when you reach Dublin.
By Air
You will fly over Howth just before you land at Dublin Airport. The airport is not serviced by rail yet so the main two options are Bus or Taxi. The bus is Air Coach who will bring you to Dublin city centre for €7 where you will get the DART light rail to Howth for about €2.
A taxi will take you direct from the airport to the venue for approx €25-€30.

By Sea
Stena Lines sail to Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Rosslare, Belfast and Larne. Irish Ferries sail to Dublin and Rosslare. You will more likely arrive at either Dublin or Dun Laoghaire port. If you arrive in Dublin or Dun Laoghaire you need to make your way to the nearest train station and get the DART to Howth. If you arrive at any other port, then take the train to Dublin city centre and transfer to DART (light rail) to get to Howth. See the 'By Rail' paragraph above for more details.
By Road
From The South: take the M50 Motorway which is a C-shaped ring-road connecting the north and south of Dublin. Travel North until you reach the M1 (Dublin-Belfast Motorway), then take the N32 and Grange Road through Baldoyle, Sutton and on to Howth.
From the North, take the M1 motorway to Dublin changing to the N32 after you pass Dublin Airport. Once on the N32 just keep going straight until you reach Howth.
From Dublin City Centre drive northwards past the central bus station (Busaras) and Connolly train station to Fairview and then take either the coast road (keep straight) or the Howth Road, both of which will bring you to your destination.

The entrance to the Deer Park Hotel and Howth Castle is on the right hand side of the main road just before you reach Howth village. It's easy to find, I promise.
Please Email Dublin Jam if you need any help on how to get to the venue. There is also some useful information on travel to Howth here.
